How far Windows Mobile has fallen. It’s one thing to lose market-share to Android quarter after quarter. It’s one thing to have a new OS in the works, knowing that it’s going to face an uphill battle against some of the young guns in the mobile OS market. But it’s a whole other issue when Windows Mobile phone owners start hacking their phones to put Android on them. Wired.com ran a story on this interesting development. Windows Mobile has its issues and people have been complaining about them for quite a while now. Instead of dumping their phone, handset owners are taking things in their own hands and adding Android to their phones.

It’s ridiculously easy to get Android running on the Touch. You simply unlock your phone and flash the Android OS to it. If you have a good guide to go off of, you could have Android up and running in probably half an hour.
