Cisco Cius: Android Tablet for Enterprise

Apple iPad may be having its own way in the consumer market at this point, but the market is not settled. Nor is the enterprise market. Contenders are emerging though. Cisco Cius is an interesting 7 inch Android tablet that can handle video-conferencing and secure network connections for business. Cisco’s tablet integrates some of the company’s enterprise technologies. Cisco Quad, Cisco Show and Share, WebEx, Presence, and IM are just a few technologies available on this device.

Dell Streak Android Tablet Coming Summer 2010

Android tablets are going to change the tablet market and take it to the next level. The iPad may have it all to itself these days. But we are only months away from an explosion of Android tablets to the market. Dell Streak is one of those tablets. We have known about Dell Streak for quite some time now. It seems the company is now getting ready to release the tablet by the end of this summer. Dell Streak will feature 5-inch WVGA touchscreen, Qualcomm’s 1-GHz Snapdragon Processor, and 2 GB internal storage. It will also have a 5 MP camera (something that should have been included in iPad). It even has a front facing camera for video-chat and beyond (like iPhone HD).

Verizon + Google: iPad Killer?

Steve Jobs has had great success at Apple with iPhone, iPod Touch, and now iPad. But he must hate how Google refuses to go away and keeps coming up with way to challenge Apple and take business away from it. Android has become a monster that Apple has no idea how to deal with. Google is not stopping there though. Nexus One launch was a disaster. There is no question about that. Nevertheless, Google seems to be ready to bounce back by preparing an iPad killer. The company seems to have already signed up Verizon to provide an even better 3G experience on this mysterious Android tablet (something that Apple probably should have done).
