Fraud and Android Market? Who Knew?

The longer the economy continues its struggle to bounce, the more people will use illegal tactics to make money. One of the most notorious ways to do that is by stealing other people’s financial information. Hackers and online thieves have been doing that for years, so it’s nothing new. In fact, if your computer is not protected, you may leave yourself open to such attacks. But that’s not the only place you need to be worried about. It seems your Android phone can be susceptible to such attacks as well. In fact, you wouldn’t even be able to call it an “attack” when you are the one installing that banking app on your phone.

These days people are getting more comfortable with sharing their personal data with these apps. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you know whose app you are using. It’s simply embarrassing to install an app and thinking it’s authorized by your bank without even checking.
